With rapid growth across all sectors, we are recruiting a new Account Manager to oversee the management of key client relationships in China.
You will be accountable for the overall growth, profitability and client satisfaction within your portfolio and partner with our consulting and delivery management function to ensure the ongoing services are delivered to spec, time, budget and quality.

What You’ll Do

Own the account portfolio like a CEO responsible for the relationship, revenue, and P&L

Own the account plan and long-term strategy, forming a deep understanding of our clients and the overall market

Drive account revenue within the client / account portfolio as well as accelerate opportunities to influence and sell-in end-to-end EPAM services

Drive sales / pre-sales activities by acting as the lead to assess opportunities, respond to RFP’s, create proposals and presentations, establish relationships with clients and prospective clients, and help to close / sign new deals

Support innovation and business transformation focused conversations and initiatives at strategic level

Develop and manage the strategy to meet our mutual expectations and relationship

Manage the account and delivery team performance

Look for innovative solutions to continually provide value by solving business problems/processes that leverage human centered methodologies and technology to provide better user experiences market differentiation, efficiency improvements, and more for our clients

Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early

Identify new growth opportunities within portfolio accounts, with a focus on conversion from innovation or strategy work into design & digital product/platform opportunities

Partner with Account Managers and SMEs who are more engineering & delivery-focused to expand accounts into long-term, $3M+ accounts over time

Drive and coordinate preparation of client proposals, statements of work and contracts

Manage account performance and forecast reporting

Align with EPAM BU’s goals and objectives, support company financial goals by achieving revenue and profit targets
Requirements
-
3-4 years of experience in managing account or portfolio of accounts
-
Strong market knowledge and preferred experience in managing accounts within at least 2-3 of the following spaces:
- Innovation & CX Strategy
- Experience Design
- Digital Products
- Digital Platforms (eCommerce, Digital Marketing, CMS, Customer Data Platforms)
- Technology/Data Consulting

Ability to engage and consult with CXO level stakeholders on trends & opportunities within Digital, Business & Technology transformation

Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real help to the team

Strong problem solving and creative thinking abilities

Experience in managing and monitoring performance metrics across various accounts or portfolio of accounts

Maintain accurate revenue forecasts in EPAM CRM; attend pipeline calls, highlight opportunities and engage others to increase conversion potential

Experience of negotiating commercial agreements

Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and planning skills are necessary

Exceptional leadership/management skills and superb oral and written communication skills, with seasoned presentation skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, a quick-thinker, be able to work in a fast-paced work environment

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
