Recently, NightScout, an organization of parents hacking their childrens’ glucose monitors, has garnered media attention around their hashtag #wearenotwaiting. While some may argue industry is slow to catch up with regulated solutions to meet this unmet patient need, Mike Dunkley and Sam Katz argue that a rigorous risk analysis process must take place in MD+DI.
